Echo Life Devices

Echo Life is a patented, enjoyable, music interactive, haptic feedback wearable technology to help you manage stress, focus and sleep. It's also a new and fun way to experience music anytime and anywhere!

Echo Life's goal is to help users to increase and sustain focus, to decompress and feel calmer and more relaxed. We designed Echo Life to have the option of being used discretely. This allows users to use Echo Life and be more productive in environments when they need it the most without distracting others or themselves from any given task.

Echo Life's inventor and founder, Matt Giordano is a lifelong drummer with Tourette Syndrome and ADHD.  He knows how beneficial drumming and music can be from personal experience and over 20 years of leading drum workshops for people with similar conditions and just regular people as well.  

Feel Feature

Echo Life can comfort you to feel calmer and more relaxed. Simply pick a song on your phone and the vibrations in the wristbands will match the music. Enjoy hearing and/or feeling the music through multiple haptic vibrations in the wristbands as it soothes you. You will feel the full range of sound in both wristbands. You can even feel it in stereo which is useful for bilateral stimulation. The haptics matches the music's lows, mids, high sounds as well as volume intensity.

 

You can also select a time duration and Echo Life will gradually reduce the volume of the music and the vibration intensity within that time frame. This will help to gradually bring you into a comforted, relaxed place and can help you fall peacefully asleep.

Express Feature

Express yourself! Pick a percussion instrument on the Echo Life app to jam by yourself, jam with nearby Echo Life users or choose a song on your phone to jam along with. You can choose which hand will play the low sounds and high sounds of your selected percussion instrument.  ​You can select "Sensitivity" option. If you want to play lightly and discretely, select "Inactive". If you want to let loose and give it your all, select "Active".

  • Bond, connect and jam along with other nearby Echo Life users such as friends, family, a drum circle or a percussion ensemble

  • Try out a percussion track idea to compose

About

Matt Giordano

Matt was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome at the age of 5 along with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). He began drum lessons at the age of 5 and discovered his symptoms disappear while drumming. Additionally, music has helped him overcome many challenges related to his diagnoses.

In 2003, Matt started Drum Echoes, Inc. to facilitate drum workshops with the purpose of providing people the same drumming and music benefits that has helped him throughout his life. He has worked with thousands of people all over the world, seeing firsthand how music helps others. His desire to help others with music grew while working with them in person but he later realized how much better their lives could be if they could have a similar musical experience all the time and anywhere. That's how he came up with the idea for Echo Life!
